Stay at Home Retreat with Christine

Day 1 -Edge-to-Edge
We will focus on designs from Christine’s Seasonal Swirl pattern, which uses the same technique, in a smaller format. You will use your embroidery machine and Christine’s exclusive files and quilting technique to stitch on a whole cloth, as you learn how to get quilting results that look like they came from a long-arm. At the end of the class, you can cut apart the whole cloth to form a set of 4 matching place mats.

                                   Day 2 - Custom Quilting

Today we will learn the technique from Christine's exciting new book Custom Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine

We will start by piecing an on-pointe table runner inspired by one of the quilt top patterns included in the book. Then, we will learn how to position and stitch the included block quilting designs and border designs. By the end of the class, we will have mastered the most involved designs in the book, and you’ll be ready to breeze through any of the other designs in the book! You must have an embroidery machine with a 6x8” stitching field. Today we will further expand our skills!
